ELI Asia Newsletter | Jan-Apr 2022 | Issue 01

Just like that! We have breezed through the first quarter of 2022 with so much work to do in the coming months ahead of us. We are in awe of how God continually sustains and provides for ELI Asia and its campuses. He has been gracious to us in so many ways and it’s only April!

For the past three and a half months ELI Asia campuses have begun facilitating more than 1 subject in the various campuses. God has raised up men, teachers in training to help Pastor Nicky provide biblical instruction to students, pastors, and lay leaders.

Our campus in Sta. Rosa, the Ezra Institute of Theology, has recently concluded their study of Homiletics where they learned how to exposit the Word of God. Back to back with New Testament Survey 1. They are now looking forward to begin studying New Testament Survey 2.

Simons Institute of Theology our campus in Paete is currently taking up Pastoral Theology and Disciplemaking in the Local Church. Their Matalatala Annex has begun teaching Disciplemaking in January with 17 students enrolled. We’re praying that this will be the start of a disciplemaking movement in the Laguna district.

North Manila Campus has also recently concluded their study in Disciplemaking in the Local Church while another group is taking up Hermeneutics.

Siniloan Bible Training Institute is being led by Pastor Christian Yanga in the study of Old Testament Survey 2. Conducting on-site and livestreaming classes. After 2 years, things are slowly becoming more like how it used to be before Covid.

We are also blessed with our campus in Masantol, Pampanga with students currently taking up Spiritual Leadership.

So much going on in the campuses that we don’t want to forget how God adds to our number through various trainings like the one we have in Lanao Del Sur. They are studying New Testament Survey 1 using Pastor Nicky’s pre-recorded videos. Let us pray for more students in this area and for protection as well.

God has also added three new groups that are now taking up trainings provided by ELI Asia. This includes Christ the Good Shepherd Churches of Caloocan, and Trece Martires in Cavite. These two are mother and daughter churches and they are at present studying the Pastoral Epistles.

Another training is being provided through Pastor Nicky’s recorded videos to a small group in Phoenix, Arizona. They have finished learning Hermeneutics and will begin studying the Old Testament Survey 1 at the end of April.

As if these things aren’t enough to get us on our knees to praise God for all His goodness to us? We are excited to move forward knowing that God is walking with us.

We also would like to thank our partners in ministry for providing the means to purchase TV sets for our campuses. May the Lord richly bless you so that you can continually further God’s kingdom by helping students to learn and for helping ELI Asia to provide biblical education.

Again, we have so much work to do! So onward Christian soldiers!
