God is faithful won’t you agree?

Thank you po, I didn’t know that my views are not biblical, ang dami ko pong natutunan.

Those are priceless words. No matter how tired a teacher of the Word may be, at the end of the day, these words will surely remind him to keep going.

We need to remember that people don’t naturally desire to grow in the knowledge of God, even more so to spend time diligently studying the Bible. We are just simply too busy with our lives that time spent communing with God has been viewed by most professing Christians as an extracurricular activity.

If you say you are a follower of Christ and have been actively seeking to learn by being a part of a church, a bible study group, and a bible institute like ELI Asia, that is God’s grace enabling you to do so. A supernatural work of the Holy Spirit.

Six months into 2021 and God has only ever been faithful. Though not much has truly changed in the world and the uncertainty in this pandemic grows bigger every day, living by Christlike faith seems to characterize a believer growing in his walk with God as it should be.

God has been faithful in sustaining ELI Asia, by sending students who will become ministers and workers in the local church. Even with the absence of physical gathering, the students have only grown in number and more importantly, in biblical knowledge.

But there are countless churches already! Yes, that is true, but are they biblical?

May you continue to uphold ELI Asia in prayer, as we continue to labor on for the cause of Christ. May you pray for pastors and lay leaders being developed to plant churches and those being developed to become biblical ministers of the Word of God in their existing local churches. There is so much to do and by God’s sustaining grace we will press on.

On to the 2nd half of 2021 and beyond!

God bless you!
